Is anyone else just incredibly depressed today?
I feel like it is almost too much effort to even type today. I'm not sure how I will make it through my work day.

1. Yes, I've been depressed for the last 4 years and today is just
adding to it.

2. I refuse to let them get to me
While my resolve to fight the right is just as strong as ever, I have decided that I cannot let them get the best of my good humor.

3. Brutally so. I can't turn on the television. But, here:
maybe this will make you feel a little better - click on the interview.

Fuck depression. I'm going to be thrilled and ecstatic in protest of the inauguration. And maybe just a bit giddy as well. THEY want us to be depressed. To keep us down.

5. Yes. Sad, angry, and depressed today. And a little lonely and isolated.

11. Thanks -
Times like these just highlight even more my desire to move back home, among my own kind, so to speak.

8. Thanks to DU, I at least do not feel alone.
For about a week after 11/2/04 I was depressed but my basically positive nature got the best of me & I've been ok, until today.

6. More disgusted and angry than depressed
Today might be a good day to change some of my bumperstickers.

I'm never depressed when I'm in a fighting mood. And already they are doing everything wrong, especially being so over-confident. "Pride goeth before disaster, and a haughty spirit before a fall.'

10. Been Depressed
but today - it's the crying type - and I don't think a stiff drink will help. I just can turn on the TV - maybe later in the day.

I am so thankful I found the DU this month, helps me to feel a little less lonely, isolated and wondering if I might be a bit 'whack-o' for having these angry thoughts and feelings these past 4 years. What do they call this - PTSS?

12. I'm more angry than depressed
and I think how prior to Nov 2nd I anticipated Jan 20 to be such a day of joy and pride. That optimism seems like a distant memory now. I had such an urge to run cars w/ Bushco stickers off the road this am-I would feel so much better if I could do that - not to harm anyone - just give em a little scare.

13. I'm overloaded on the emotions
I angry, depressed, disappointed. Right this minute depressed is topping the scale.

Normally this time to the day I'm focused on my job but I just can't get into it today.

14. Not really
I feel more frustrated with people than I am depressed. All I can say is...you get what you asked for and I have a feeling that this administration will be taking the fall soon.
I guess that by living through the Reagan years, bush 1 and the Clinton bashing for 8 plus years, I am a little numb toward it all right now.
I am also a little bit excited to know that we have made a little progress in trying to change the situation and I believe it has just started.
Try not to get too troubled, we have made some change and we can make more changes.
