Asshole in the next cube is blasting the Coronation!
Fuck! I'm gonna have to listen to the whole damn thing! Should I ask him to turn it down or just go over there and kick in the tv screen?

2. Can't you blast a radio?
Do you have anything on your computer you can play? I'm glad no one is doing that around here today...they would be very pissed off at me within minutes.

4. Do you have a radio you can turn up or stream something from your
computer? Maybe, you guys can call a truce and both turn your shows down.

Is he doing it just because he knows you hate Bush?

9. While it may suck to hear *'s words and the
praise that will go along with it, I must confess I did EXACTLY the same thing on Jan 20 1993. I had a radio on my desk and once Maya Angelou began speaking I moved it and turned up the volume so all around me could hear. I was in quite the triumphalist mood that day. I was filled with hope for the future.

Unfortunately my hope was dashed, first with don't ask, don't tell and then with NAFTA and GATT and welfare "reform".

10. How can this be a day of hope, though?
The Republicans are full of "Let's turn the clock back to the way it used to be." Their fear-mongering and total greed make me want to puke. And how can young people embrace this philosophy? Shouldn't young people be full of hope for the future? I just don't get it. Maybe I'm just a burnt out old hippie.
