Judging by the scene here at the mighty DU, punk is poised for a revival (we have a poster named "xpunkisneatx", for instance).

A few of the original bands are still out there, too. (Social D) And just think how easy it'll be to form new ones in today's huge SUV garages!!

2. I hope something orginal comes along.
One thing really fucked up about what we are now is we keep picking through the ashheap of our cultural history. It's a sign of how diseased we are as a culture that we have nothing new or original to say--or no original way to say it. We've gone to seed.
