Putin’s Election Web-Site Taken Over by Call Girls
The www.putin2000.ru Web-site, launched by his campaign staff five years ago and registered in the name of the then-presidential candidate himself, now offers the services of call girls, Internet.ru reports.

These days the site is registered in the name of a certain Konstantin Vorobyov, whose contact number in St. Petersburg is indicated on the site.

Internet.ru has learnt that putin2000.ru has not been stolen. In 2004 the term of registration of that domain expired, and no one expressed a willingness to prolong registration. The site was subsequently taken over by prostitutes offering various services.

The site was originally designed and registered by Vladimir Putin’s campaign staff in 2000. It offered extensive information on Vladimir Putin covering his life and career, his principles and political platform, available in Russian and English.

Looks like Putin got his domain back after all, though...
