1. I don't think Dean will ever be Pres.
He's like Moses. He delivered the party from it's submission but will never get to the promise land.

I did not know much about Ms. Boxer prior to the confirmation hearings, but now she is one of my new heroes.

2. I predict that come 2008...
Edited on Sat Jan-22-05 03:03 AM by Spider Jerusalem
the Democratic candidate could be the rotting corpse of Adlai E. Stevenson, and we'll still win.

5. Especially if Ashcroft decides to run.
He has a tendency to lose to dead guys.

Dean will be party chairman soon and he said he won't run if elected chairman.

7. I've been thinking about this for a long time
and people like to say that free-thinkers like Dean can never get elected....but KKKarl Rove said that too. KKKarl was throwing that bullshit around right in the beginning when Dean was frontrunner. For some reason, KKKarl really wanted to run Bush against John Kerry.

The greatest coup the people of this country can pull in 2008 is to make sure the Democratic AND Republican candidates are free-thinkers. The establishment will shit themselves. No, they'll be throwing money at the candidates trying to corrupt them. And if that fails they'll "Carnahan/Wellstone" them. But it's still worth a shot.

Unfortunately I predict Hillary and Jeb have locks on their nominations and Jeb will take the general by a decisive margin.

13. It could be Hillary and Jeb. But I hope not.
An insider pal predicts for the GOP --

Bill Frist / Gordon Smith

and for Dems --

Edwards / Richardson

17. No way on Gordon Smith.
He's way too moderate on gay issues...surprise...as a Republican. Falwell and company would NEVER accept Gordon Smith as V/P.

I think it will be Frist, also. Frist/Rice, I think.

I agree with your insider pal for the Dems. I think that would be a strong ticket.

18. Jeez, I think you're right on Smith --
-- he is too moderate for a lot of those wildcattin' conservatives.

15. on the puke side, ahnold n jeb, on our side, hillary and ?
Hillary and someone yet to be determined.

There have been heavy commercials in Cali to amend the constitution to allow foreign born people to run for president. I know the upper re-puke echilon are gunning for it.

I like Bill Mahr's quote on this, "Fine. We'll let you have Ahnold, but we get Clinton (Bill)! Now there's some debates you could sell on Pay Per View!"
