160 lb. Tumor
So, i'm channel flipping and i see a show coming on the Discovery Health Channel called "160 lb. Tumor!"

"Immobilized by a 160-pound tumor and near death, Romanian Lucia Bunghez has given up hope until she sees a Discovery program documenting a similar case in America. Discovery Health Channel sends a team of specialists to Bucharest to perform a miracle."

the American show is one of my favorite TV shows of all time - entitled "200 lb tumor". It's really amazing... this woman had a 200 lb tumor. Yes, 200 lb. It was wrapped all around her body. Nobody would do anything about it, but one doc decided to try. After an incredible operation and recovery, she was healed. Just amazing to watch, if you like surgery shows.

5. I watched a similar show
and after the tumor was removed, it was dissected and was shown to have hair and teeth growing inside.

9. That was the "Vanished Twins" episode
what was removed was supposed to be the identical twin brother of a seven-year old boy. Fetus in fetu, they called it. It didn't develop so much as grow along with him.

8. Everyone else basically told the 200-pound tumor woman to go away and die

Her doctor stepped up and saved her life, and if he hadn't, the 160-pound tumor woman wouldn't have had the opportunity to find out about it. That's the kind of person the president should be giving medals of honor to.

11. When I was a laboratory research tech
I would often run into other tech friends with an ice bucket that had somebody's recently removed tumor or organ. And I did hear of a 60 lb tumor that was removed from an obese woman.

My mother had a friend who was having abdominal surgery for a tumor in 1965 and after they opened her up they realized she was about 8 months pregnant.

She delivered a 9 lb boy a month later. Not smart enough to know she was pregnant or that the father was already married to someone else.
