Should i try a dating site?
I'm sick of being single, but i'd feel like a hunk of meat advertising myself on a dating site. Has anyone done this? Did you have any success?

1. No.
The internet sucks for that.

If they have it in your area, try "speed dating".

A friend of mine does it and it's basically a service that gets a bunch of people together in a casual public setting (usually restaurant) and let's them spend a few minutes having a "speed date". At the end everyone secretly tells the organizer who they're interested in and if there's a "match" (both people are interested) then phone numbers are forwarded.
My pal has been on lots of dates and met some nice women. I'm proud of him!

2. No, definitely
do not waste your time and money with any of those sites, because that's what it would be, a complete waste.

One of the things it's important to do is not to seem too desperate or anxious, that's a real turn-off for both sexes. Sometimes it's better to just let things happen on their own.

3. Nothing wrong with being a hunk of meat
I've talked to people who have done well - you just have to be persistent and honest - you'll find someone

And be prepared to go on some bad dates, but that's life, no?

Too risky.
