Steelers vs.Patriots
I am watching the Eagles vs. Falcons game. But I'm really just waiting for the Pittsburgh/New England game. I think it is going to be a great game and that whoever wins this game will take the Super Bowl. I'm not really rooting for either team, just hoping for a great game.

13. Got a bet with this Repuke Bush-buttmuncher Radio afternoon guy
in Cleveland. From right after the Browns' first at-home win (against the Stillers) after "returning".

I bet him that the Steelers would win another SuperBowl before the Browns ever GET TO ONE!

Sucker took the bet. 1999.

So far, I haven't had to worry about the Browns making it. Just hoping to rub this ass's nose in it - he's constantly complaining about how Cowher is a loser, because he "never won the big one". Sometimes, he remembers that Coach du Jour of the Browns hasn't won one either.

Here's a happy Eagles fan hoping it's a good game. I don't like the Steelers, but their fans have also been waiting a while and I feel for them.

I know my Eagles will be the underdog in the Super Bowl, but I'm only thinking positively. :-)

Penalties are killer in games like this. 2 huge mistakes by the Steelers. That first screen call was brilliant. They knew the Steelers lineman couldn't guard a "receiver."

Think about it this way- after that field goal, the Steelers are in the same position they were in with 3 minutes left in the 3rd quarter. But, now, there's only 8 or 9 minutes left in the 4th quarter.

It would take something pretty wacky for them to win, at this point.

You are down 14 points in the fourth quarter.

1st, why do you run the ball up the middle on 1st and 3rd down when you have been successful throwing the ball and running off tackle the hole game?

But anyway, even if you are fourth and goal on the two yard line, you have to go for it. If you cannot get two yards on a play like that, you aren't going to win anyway.

Nobody becomes NFL champion playing conservatively and like a coward.

I would fire Bill Cower immediately after the game.

And what if you don't make it? Then the Patriot offense has the whole field to run the clock down with, and you're 14 points down. That's still two touchdowns, and you don't even WIN. Only tie.

I actually posted that. I read SI's prediction, we were expected to go 8-8 and the Pats were predicted to win the AFC, so Pats fans shouldnt act like they won the greatest upset ever, did what was expected. Its just you get sooooo high, then ya come back down to earth.
