any suggestions for reading material?
Edited on Mon Jan-24-05 01:51 PM by koopie57
I'm in the market for any ideas, but am in the mood for more of a fantasy, magical, dark magic something kind of story. Thanks in advance for any ideas.

on edit: was this the wrong forum? Sorry if it was.

6. For fun fantasy, I like an author named Charles DeLint.

A lot of it is urban fantasy. Lot's of references to music and magic, etc.

It's fun, easy reading but for adults. I'd recommend a book called "Trader" although my favorite is an older, hard to get book called, "The Little Country".

10. Frank Perretti
My favorite books are "Piercing The Darkness" and "This Present Darkness" by Frank Perretti. They are awesome fiction but very close to reality. I wish he'd make movies.

11. "His Dark Materials Trilogy"
By Phillip Pullman.
In addition to being one of the most well written sci-fi/fantasy trilogies dealing with religion, it pissed off the fundies :hi:
