Any fans of the show Boomtown on here?

I loved this show last season. I thought the acting and the stories were phenomenal and fully fleshed out, without any one person or sub-plot taking over too much of any episode, and being paced out over a whole season rather than forcing a particular character's life down our throat in a single episode.

However, I was super dissapointed in last week's season premiere. The whole thing with 2 female jewel thieves was like something out of a bad syndicated show (She-Spies, VIP or some dreck like that). And the whole vigilante cop angle that all 4 of the main officers undertook without trepidation or anyone dissenting was also silly and out of character for the way they've set most of these guys up.

I hope it picks up once the DA character returns, but I'm not holding my breath.

It was a childrens show during the 70's in the Boston area. The show host was Rex Trailer and his side kick Dergeant Billy.

But it seems too difficult to pull off every week.

I thought it was really good and I'm looking forward to this season.

The D.A. is my favorite character on the show.

That means it will probably not make it another year. It requires some attention by the viewer.
