2. aren't you too young to remember that stuff?
But, a lot of good shows there...

I remember digging up an old Life Magazine my father had stashed somewhere and it had a review of this new show called "All in the Family". To sum up, they said it would never last as it had no likeable characters.

3. When moving stuff around the office recently, I actually found a
TV Guide from 1979 :)

It's got Parnell Roberts as Trapper John, M.D. on the cover. CBS was airing Captain America 2 on Saturday night, and Salem's Lot on Sunday.

4. Let's see which have been remade into movies:
Six Million Dollar Man (Jim Carrey is starring in it)
Charlies Angel
Starsky & Hutch

I've heard rumors that Kojak and Hawaii 5-0 also might get big screen adaptions

7. As I look back on those times...
...I'm reminded why I dove into punk rock with a vengeance. (Although the Bionic Woman looked pretty good if one was young and very, very high...)

Now I have 17 gabillion channels of digital HD, and there isn't as much on as one two hour slot back then.

Richard Pryor and CHiPs @ eight?!?

Love Boat on BEFORE Starsky and Hutch?!?

The powerhouse night was ABC on Tuesdays. Nobody could beat that comedy line up.

And everybody's Friday line up was just lame, except for Rockford and Quincy of course.

16. Soap!

I loved that show. None of my friends were able to watch (parents were freaked out about Billy Crystal's character Jody) so I would come to school and give the details.

I recently put Soap in my Netflix queue, I want to share it with my kids...that show was so funny.

Cheers,
Kim

17. I remember pretending to be asleep on the floor in the livingroom
so I could watch "Soap" followed by "Family" on Tuesday night. My bedtime was 8:30. We were an ABC family...except for "Little House"
