Do you have a something random you'd like to share?

I was very stressed a couple weeks back about quitting a job I just started for another one, but I did, it's over, and I really, really love my new one. Great co-workers. Great environment. Fairly decent pay. Flexible. Chance for growth. I feel like I'm doing something positive for humanity because, well, I am. :)

I'm only sitting at the computer because I'm exhausted after working all day: Getting up when it's still dark out, driving a half hour to work, slaving in the darkness for fourteen hours, getting out of work when it's starting to get dark, driving home for another half hour in the dark and the snow, tired when I get home.

No energy to go out and meet anyone...

6. I made chocolate chip cookies today.

My son, age three, came into the kitchen this afternoon, looking for a cookie.

"Mommy, can I have a cookie?"

"We don't have any cookies, sweetie."

Big brown eyes plead.

"Pleeeeease, Mommy? Please can I have a cookie?"

I just couldn't turn the little guy down, so I baked a batch of chocolate chip cookies and stuff the kids full of cookies and milk before supper. :D
