10. I would have slept with that keyboard player.
I said no & regret it. I know it would have been a very short term thing, but it would be something to remember.
I will not tell you who, so don't ask.

17. Go to WOODSTOCK !!!!
I chose to stay home and listen to records.

It just didn't seem like a good idea at the time.
Drive 1500 miles in a car with 5 other people just to camp in a farmer's field for 3 days and listen to music I could play at home.

Call me stupid.

with my iron pouring job until I had enough seniority to bid on a different job. With their 25 years and out, I would be sitting really nice and collecting a nice retirement.

23. Keep that job when I was 13 working PR for Rock Stars!!!!!!!!!!!
But nooooo!! My mother was a freaking fundie and I was her brainwashed fool and rock and roll was baaaaddddd.

I freaking met Whitesnake and some others that I can't remember because at the time I didn't know who they were because all I ever listened to was church hymns!!!

Oh God This is killing me to remember.

The worst part is I quit because I thought God wanted me away from the rock and roll!!! Whaaa whaaa whaa waa waa sniff.

After I quit I found $200.00 in the roots of a bush and I thought God was rewarding me for quitting.

You are sick, how could you make me relive that. Whaa waa sniff whaa
I hate my mom!!!

24. In 1994, I was offered a job in Japan, and for various reasons I
didn't take it.

If I had known what I know now, I would have taken it.

One of the reasons I didn't take it was that I didn't like the city where it was located, but DUH, I could have stayed for just one year and found another job in another city, since under Japanese law, you own your work visa, not your employer.

25. Meet with the Soviet Youth League
I was a student activist, part of a pretty well funded statewide student group in New York State in the late 70s. When I left the group, the American Communist Party offered me the chance to visit with my counterparts in the Soviet Youth League (I think that's what it was called). I declined, one of the few regrets I have. It would have been a blast to meet with them. The weird thing about the student group was that the Communist Party was always trying to infiltrate it, thus the offer of a free trip to the Soviet Union. (They had once infiltrated it, and my predecessor in the group, the son of a Texas oilman, was a Party member.)

26. stayed with my best friend's fiance when she kissed me...
and asked me to spend the night.

I chose the friendship...and nothing lasted.

they broke up a few months later over other things, and she moved home...my friend went away for grad school and we drifted apart...and it wasn't until later that i learned from a friend of hers that she was as crazy about me as i was about her.

what might have been...
