Deep thoughts thread
I'll go first

If we are lucky enough to make it 80 or 85 years while we are here that amount of time is only one grain of sand on the beach of time.

There is one thing that never changes. That one thing is that things are always changing.

Nothing lasts forever, nothing.

Got any of your own deep thoughts ?

1. Better not take a dog on the space shuttle...

...because if he sticks his head out when you're coming home his face might burn up.

Ok... I stole that "deep thought" from Jack Handy.;)

or (another Jack Handy):

Sometimes when I feel like killing someone, I do a little trick to calm myself down. I'll go over to the persons house and ring the doorbell. When the person comes to the door, I'm gone, but you know what I've left on the porch? A jack-o-lantern with a knife stuck in the side of it's head with a note that says "You." After that I usually feel a lot better, and no harm done.

One more: :D

If you ever fall off the Sears Tower, just go real limp, because maybe you'll look like a dummy and people will try to catch you because, hey, free dummy.

8. LOL, our family is still talking about an email my stepmother sent my
brother after she downed a glass, or two, or more of wine. She was aggravated that my brother had seemingly made an insensitive comment to my father, and Hoooo boy, did she ever let fly.
Anyway, this happened 4 years ago, and we are finally getting over the fall out...I think that is a piece of advice that should be permanent wallpaper on every computer screen! MKJ
