Had a great party last night.
:hi: (Hi, soupkitchen.) ;-)

Lynnesin, soleft, it was so great to see you both! I hope you had fun at my party.

I had a great time. It was my first time out of the house without even one crutch. I got to wear my wedding dress. I got to hang out with Lynnesin and soleft, and a world of other great people.

Everyone thinks my husband is either cute, sweet, wonderful or all 3 yet they all tell him that he's the lucky one, which is such a nice thing to hear.

My cake was awesome.

People gave to my charities.

I was really, really, really happy.

Thanks again Lynne and soleft for making it.

:)

5. Not one crutch?
Now, that's a birthday present from the gods! Do you have a stylish cane? I'm whittling mine and hoping I don't need it 'til it's done. ;-)

I'm calling you soon - maybe before I finish this post. Gotta hear all about your party!

My thoughts on your husband? He's cute, sweet, talented, intelligent, wonderful, and (once he gets old enough that I stop wanting to pinch his cheeks) handsome. I've never seen two people so much in love and he's got to take half the credit.

I'm hanging up on DU now (not really) and dialing you (really). OK! I got the machine! I'll call you tomorrow.

:loveya:

I remember the first couple crutchless events - they're very liberating as you know you're regaining contorl again.
