A Fundie just told me John Lennon was demon posessed
I swear, Diet Sprite really hurts when it shoots out your nose because you're laughing so hard. His response was "You wouldn't laugh if the devil posessed you!"

Well maybe I would, after all isn't there that whole maniacal laughing thing one does when one is posessed?

Anyway, we were talking about music, and I'm not sure why I was talking with him in the first place, being hes a fundie and all. We're on weekend shift, so I guess there was no one else to talk to.

Anyway, he told me that John Lennnon was, in fact, demon posessed. Apparently so are a lot of rock stars, the strangest of which he cited was Alan Parsons (?!?!?!?!?!)

Anyway, thought I'd share. Now if we lived in a truly just state, this man would be taken to a funny farm and kept under heavy medication.

3. Yeah yeah yeah bash poor Yoko
But she did make him happy - something that seemed pretty hard to do for a cynic like John. Anyone who can make a cynic truly happy is a blessing indeed...

7. yeah I know, the "Eye in the Sky" guy
I mean, you'd think the devil would want to at least make interesting music...perhaps its part of a great satanic conspiracy to infiltrate easy listening?

6. Only a demon would write music about peace,
love, and acceptance. (lols) It's interesting how these values have been demonized. What does that say about society! Intellectualism is stupid, good is bad, war is peace. GOOD GRIEF! Anton LaVay would love THE NEO-CONS?! It is very disturbing.

10. Oh most def, LaVey would LOVE the neocons
A while back someone posted in GD a comparison of the 10 Satanic Commandments, and the Bush Aministrations goals. The two were definitely in synch.

15. Yes I did
Tragic loss - when I think of Jim Capaldi I think of "Empty Pages" and that slick beat he used on that track. I don't know a whole lot about percussion, but I don't think I've heard a beat like that used anywhere else in rock.

11. Isn't it funny that fundies know everything?
They profess to know someone's sexual orientation, and what their religion is, without any personal contact with them.

12. *GASP* Lemme at him-Where is he?
I'll kick his anus but good for sayin' that :spank:

He can't say that about John Lennon. I'm sure it's illegal or something like that, isn't it

Ted Nugent? Now that is a distinct possibility AND at least that's believable but never, never (be still my foolish heart)
John Lennon :loveya:

14. That was probably from the "bigger than Jesus" comment
that Lennon made back in 64 or so. The simple minded would probably believe that to be a mark of possession.

17. Tell the fundy...
That there is no such thing as demon possession, but God is re-possessing the fundy's brain for lack of use. :D
