About an hour ago I went outdoors to do some planting
because it was beautiful outdoors, now the thunder is rolling in, dark sky and windy. Great for planting though, the ground was soft and easy to plant things. Dang, I have something in my thumb from planting the cacti... shoot, can't find the problem. All my plants are now in the ground.

Several years ago my mother was working on a plant, she had a small thorn stuck in her hand and couldn't remove it, she had to have hand surgery.

1. Wow, where do you live?
I spent this morning pulling "snowballs" off my dogs.

After they were taken care off I got out my wet shoes and socks and put on my woolies. They're small dogs, and with snow last night, this morning's walk became a catastrophe when they both ended up with balls of snow stuck to their fur. We had to stop at least a dozen times so I could clean the snow from their underbellies and paws so they could walk. They collect snow like they collect dust. About half a block from home they refused to move. I had to carry them both home.

I'm glad you got to enjoy the outdoors though.

:hi:

2. I live
in Phoenix, Az. We have had so much rain here lately my dogs are willing to do their thing outdoors now without a problem.

I often wonder what my dogs would do if I opened the door and there was snow. I know my one dog would love to keep peeing in the snow, my other dog would look at it, look at me and than sit on her pillow.

3. I was gardening in W WA today and chickens hate snow
Nice enough out today to go move plants around, and bulbs are coming up but I would like some snow. Chickens are scared to leave their coop when it snows (little minds must think the ground is gone?)
