Speaking of Tombstones, Whatever Happened to "Jesus Christ"?

I missed something a few weeks ago, shortly after reading the "I'm the Son of God -- Ask Me Anything" thread. One of the memorable threads on DU. Searched and found a few miscellaneous comments by JC (in character) on other threads.
Then I checked JC's profile and saw a big tombstone. Never found out what happened. Did he come out of the closet as a freeper? Was his style considered sacreligious by too many people? Was it a fight with the moderators? Did JC come back under another screen name?
I also remember reading on the "Ask the Administrators" section, and Skinner locked the thread and asked 'ol JC to change his moniker, lest it offend anyone.
Not surprised, actually. JC's posts were so amusing that it's a little disappointing. I don't go through all the shit that the mods do, but I would have liked to see this one run for awhile.
Is JC around in a different incarnation these days?
complained about him being sacrilegious. Funny thing was, I think he knew more about the teachings of Christ than many and he had people talking about God. You think people would consider that a good thing. Go figure. :shrug:
I didn't think any of the posts were the slightest bit sacreligious. And I used to be a powerfully serious Christian at one point. I understand religious scruples and sensitivity. I just don't understand a knee-jerk reaction like that.
