Schwarzenegger's Admiration Of Hitler, Admirable
The fact that Arnold Schwarzenegger admires Hitler shouldn't come as a shock, nor should Arnold be condemned for his admiration of a political figure with a proven economical game plan that worked. In fact, one could describe Hitler's economic policy as one of the only right wing economic blueprints that actually worked.

1. What, plunder assets from the Jews?
I wrote that headline, then decided I better read the article first.
Though it turns out we were on the same page.

2. The regime is confident plundering assets from Muslims is an improvement

that will generate a much more satisfactory profit margin than Hitler's plan did.

3. But Hitler tried to bite off too much
which brought him down. How much does the American Right wing plan to bite off?

5. Most of the world, apparently, and no one hopes they choke more than I

I would like it even better though, if Germany and France would remember America's help when THEY were afflicted with a psycopathic dictator.

I continue to watch the skies and beaches, but to date I have seen no sign of liberation.

4. His economic policy?
A huge arms industry? Giving the unemployed work building bombs and joining the army?

6. I found they are notfair to this guy.
We all used to say we liked the Germans for getting the trains to run on time and their army was top in the world at one time. They were trained to work as a unit from children hood on and to take the natural leaders out an make them officers. I do not like what Hitler did but this did make a country a great big power at one time. It also took a lot of countries to win. If you look at the second world war you will see that Russia was fighting the other half of the German army.I also did not like what the Romans did at one time but that they did it well is with out question.

11. We all used to say that?
It was Mussolini who was praised for getting the Italian trains to run on time, not Hitler and the Germans. But what the hell, in a Hitler praising thread, a little untruth is to be overlooked, eh?

And it's no trick for a large, industrialized country to get the world's top army. Just steal from a segment of society and use the proceeds to fund the army.

So they were trained to work as a unit from "children hood" on, you say. Rather, a segment of the German people willfully collaborated with Hitler to turn their country into a police state rife with informers. A segment, mind you. There were plenty of Germans who went along with it out of fear, of course, but were not part of any Nazi "unit". Oops! And you've forgotten the Jews. Were they part of this glorious "unit" you're talking about? This unity you're extolling the virtues of is one of the great historical shames of the German people. But you apparently think it was a damn good idea.

One of the reasons Hitler had problems with the general staff is that while the German army had a history of professionalism, he preferred to staff the leadership with "yes men" rather than the best men for the job.

I ask you one thing: If Hitler was so good, would you want a President of the United States to emulate him in the areas you've outlined? If your answer is yes, I expect you'll vote for Bush next year.
