WTF? Freepers boycotting Campbell Soup over McNabb's remarks

What did he say? That god I mean Rush was wrong to say what he said,

We bought some of their soup yesterday. I can't stomach the stuff myself, but the dh likes it.

So I guess McNabb is the bad guy for defending himself against Pigboy.

Maybe they should boycott Pfizer instead. Maybe they should boycott voting in any more elections. Or pork rinds.

The real story is they can't figure out how a can opener works.

Oodles of Noodles, Kraft Macaroni and Cheese, Steak-Uums and Hungry Man Dinners to eat.

They're probably relieved -- all that deciding whether to eat it with a spoon or a fork was probably giving them brain-lock anyway!

I seen one saying that McNabb will washout in a couple of years and become a backup for several teams for the rest of his career.

There's some freepers over there who think this is a stupid idea and think Rush made a huge mistake. So, let's hear it for the freepers who aren't completely brain dead. These are people who need to ditch FR...because they just don't quite fit in.

Well hold on now. Rush says something that gets him in hot water. Rush quits ESPN. And I should be mad at McNabb- a third party who was minding his own business before all this started? That doesn't make any sort of sense.

am as partisian as the next guy but, having seen McNabb totally destroy my favorite team, the Bears, in the playoffs two yrs. ago, I will argue that anyone claiming he is not a spectacular athlete and possibly of Hall of Fame potential is full of crap.

Rush is great but, like any human, can say or do stupid things.

To be fair, it appears the vast majority of the 20 entries there,while not coming right out and calling Rush the racist that he is, agree that McNabb is not a race baiter, that Rush was wrong, and they have no sympathy for him.

Only one or two stated they will boycott Cambell's soup. At least one seemed to think it was a stupid idea.

I'm certainly not a Freeper fan...but fair is fair. When, every now and then, Freeperville shows what may be considered some common sense, shouldn't we celebrate? I mean, there was the one who called ditto heads SHEEP!

True only a couple mentioned the Campbell's soup boycott, but it did lead to some funny come backs on this thread. :)

I just saw an ad for NFL merchandise with McNabb. I saw one for the United Way last night.
