1. Had all the makings of a trap game

Big win last week, bye week coming up, opposing team banged up beyond belief. Atlanta caught 'em napping in the first half is all. Reeves has pulled a couple surprise plays out of his ass, and that makes the difference.

Linehan and O'Leary will make some big halftime adjustments, and come out smokin' in the 2nd half. Or at least I'd like to think they will!

5. Great punt had ATL pinned at their 6

First down, incomplete pass.
Second down, great pressure on Johnson resulted in him trying to throw the ball away. Intentional grounding, thus penalty in endzone = safety. Great play.

6. Doug Johnson

I think he played at Florida. Undrafted FA. However, today's Vikings team is showing one huge flaw that a lot of poorer versions did: the ability to allow an untalented hack at QB to have a career day against their D. It's like they gameplanned something completely different.

Halftime adjustments had better work.

14. Up 36-20 now!!

Another safety! Again, penalty on ATL in the endzone (holding).

Thing is, that safety should have been a touchdown. Moss was BLATANTLY interfered with, the ball hit his helmet, popped up, and was intercepted by Carpenter. He carried it out of the endzone, but ATL had a block in the back and so got backed up against their goal line, leading to the safety.
