3. I saw that poster in the NY subway yesterday
and asked my wife exactly the same question. This movie would not be high on my list of remake candidates (although I do have to admit that I did see the original at the drive-in when it first came out).

4. The beauty of the original...
Was the low budget feel. It almost looked like a documentary or a snuff film, and left you wondering who the sick f**ks were who made it.

the original was diturbing enough. I don't even want to imagine what a remake - given the rise of "acceptable graphic violence" levels of films since then - would be like.


I'll be sure to not see this film.

6. The original was very artfully done (that's why it's in MOMA)...
but I doubt that the remake will be very good

7. They did one thing right with the remake at least
John Larroquette was the narrator for the first film, and they got him to do it again for the remake.
