1. The learning curve.
It's much easier to move up from the bottom. Once at the top, where's there to go. I admire the great. No need to change.

2. That's a good point.
But how many people are that great? In history, we can make a pretty good list. In our communities? Not so much.

I think both deserve respect. But I'm not so sure it's easy to move up from the bottom. A person who has no tools, no experience, maybe who doesn't seem that smart, who spends years stuck in immature patterns, and who starts to grow...I think that's really special.

And a person who is wise, and kind, and has a healthy life...doesn't that person have everything they need to do even better?
