40 mph gusts in the city...and I came from the Inland Empire tonight...
it was blowing out there

5. air quality alert in Wisconsin ,Minnesota
Iowa, , Michigan and probably Northern Illinois also..to much soot/particles and other stuff in the air. it`s the middle of winter! we usually get this in august when it`s hotter than hell in the upper midwest.sure could use a nice alberta clipper right now...

6. yeah, EPA said there's a warning in IL for sensitive
people. I think there's a temperature inversion or something and no winds...it is particulates in the air and that usually isn't the problem in summer.

7. I live in the Inland Empire

...and the drive home from work (11 PM) sucked. The gusts on the 10 were insane, and my little Honda Element is so slab-sided I was all over my lane.

I hate wind. :-(
