I don't understand why they couldn't sell out this game. It sounds like there are a lot of Cubs fans there in Atlanta. It sounds like they are in Chicago. Do people in Atlanta not care? Are they that complacent? It is pretty disgusting to me. Maybe 12 years of success is not really sich a good thing. Or maybe they are afraid to care because the Braves will probably lose?? I can't figure it out. I know one thing, if Atlanta loses, there will be a lot of changes. They are like the Buffalo Bills or something. But we'll see.

AM 720 from Chicago, and that's a strong 50,000 watt station. You can sometimes pick it up on the East Coast. WSB (AM 750) in Atlanta has the game, too.

You may also be able to pick up the game via Armed Forces Radio. Try shortwave (upper sideband) on 12579 or 4319 kHz. I don't know for sure if they're carrying it on that frequency, but it's likely. You'll need a very good radio (and some luck), since that broadcast comes out of Diego Garcia (in the Indian Ocean).

Failing that, visit Major League Baseball and you can see the play-by-play (called "Gameday"). Much better than nothing. They also have a deal where you can get audio free if you sign up for 8 trial issues of Sports Illustrated. (Cancel your subscription, I guess.)
