What was the first movie you ever saw?
Mine was "The Boy Who Could Fly". My mom says it scared the hell out of me.

1. Not sure
Either Bambi or Snow White. In the theater. Long before videos.

3. Forbidden Planet is the first one I remember
I remember seeing it on TV as a very young child; it was made two years before I was born. One scene that freaked me out was where the invisible monster from the Id descends a flight of stairs, and you can see them bend from its weight.

5. As far as my first movie in a theater, it was "The Muppet Movie,"
when I was five. I remember it quite vividly.

8. Jaws-- 1976
My first trip to the cinema. My father took me; I loved the movie (of course), my dad slept through at least half of it.

Now I am continuing the family tradition. A couple of weeks ago I took my son to see "Fat Albert"-- my son loved it, I slept through most of it!

9. I know I saw some Disney flicks when I was really little but...
first movie I ever remember seeing was the original Star Wars.

The Disney flicks were at the local drive in theater. My mother did not like going to movie theaters and figured us kids would get antsy sitting still and thus disturbing others in the theater (if only today's moms would think like my mom does). So our family would go to the drive-in because Steve (my brother older by 4 years) could see the movies and I could fall asleep in the car (hey, this was pre-kindgergartan). When the drive-in closed we were not allowed to go see movies until Star Wars came out. I was 10 by then and she had no excuse to not let me go. Dad took us!

11. ET and Heidi's Song I remember seeing in theaters
They both came out in 1982 so I would have been 4 years old. We didn't have a VCR until after that, but I probably did see movies on television at an earlier age. I don't think that I really had the attention span at that age to really be interested in sitting through a full tv movie.

14. Snow White and the Seven Dwarves when I was 3 or 4
My mom says that the witch scared me silly, so I didn't get taken to any more movies for a year or two.
