I'm looking at this page from SongMeanings.net surrounding the meaning of "Champagne Supernova" by Oasis, and I'm impressed by the number of perspectives people have on this one enduring lyric.

3. The Beatles?

Surprising, because the full name is "Wishing Well (A Tone Poem)", and poetry lends itself to interpretation. Yet not surprising, because I could see people stepping back to let the poet do what he does in this song without the interference of onlookers.
