Al Franken finally sees the light
He just called Katherine Lanpher a "cackling schoolmarm". Even if it was in jest, I couldn't agree more. Who else thinks he could get a much better sidekick?

I haven't heard here on AA as I don't get it on air and can't stream at work.

3. I used to think that back when I listened to him
when he went soft on the election fraud thing, I gave up on him. But she's not funny, I do remember that.

she's his "straight man," meant to make HIM seem funny compared to her.

but he's not funny, either, sadly. he's a funnier writer - he should stick to that.

8. Well - yeah you can only have a "straight man" if one person
is actually funny. That's probably the deal. I still don't really dig her though... she has a lecturing quality.

I'm getting tired of her holier-than-thou stuff. Why does Franken have to be nice to the people who are trying to ruin the country? What votes does she expect to win that way? Is she the DLC wing of AAR?

10. A lot of affilliates don't carry it
But for many of the west coast stations, that's the drive time show. Some of the shows are good, some are not.

12. I think she was invaluable at the beginning...
she would really keep the show moving along when it really threatened to stagnate and wallow.

I kinda got used to her laugh, plus she's pretty damned smart.
