9. I Love James Taylor

but I had to put Michael Franks just because he didn't have any votes. Unlike some of the other "soft rockers," Franks's songs have sohpisiticated lyrics AND music, are are often racy or have an edge. More like modern cocktail lounge music.

However, I don't think James Taylor deserves the john tesh award. In fact, I don't think James Taylor even deserves to be mentioned in the same sentence with john tesh. Oh, now I've done it again!

He (JT) has a beautiful voice, and talent, too.

I had to pick christopher cross, because when you say "white soft rocker" I'm just assuming it's ment to be someone I really, really dislike.

We sat on the lawn...it was very mellow and nice. Steamroller is an excellent song.
