What's the longest song you ever played on a jukebox
Edited on Sat Feb-05-05 02:33 AM by Strawman
or the most annoying song you ever played just to piss everyone off (the song could be good, just highly unwelcome by the other patrons of the establishment you were in at the time)

Longest for me I think is Do I Do by Stevie Wonder, clocking in at 10:27.

I can't think of the most annoying right now...

Was it a crappy bar where you were a total outsider as well? Cuz that would make it perfect.

My friends and I went on the infamous "Shit Bar Tour" of some of the local dives we were normally too afraid and sober to venture into. Don't remember much, but there are alot of pictures of me with various shit bar regulars with me wearing one of those puffy foam-in-front-mesh-in-back hats you buy at a gas station with stupid sayings on them. This one had a long red bill and said "Bet Mine's Longer Than Yours."

10. We have an annual crawl every spring where we hit dive bars
Edited on Sat Feb-05-05 02:50 AM by Mojambo
It is so much fucking fun.

We have little Pub Crawl passports (with pictures from previous crawls) that we carry around that list great achievements or moments from past crawls and we keep track of who can re-create various the "feats" (Getting a stranger to kiss you, taking your pants off in the bar, stealing a beer stein from each place, sprinting from one bar to the next without vomiting, etc...)

I've got a whole drawer full of passports. I look forward to the crawl all winter long!

13. That's great. I keep trying to get the fellas to recreate ours

I think we should get actual tour t-shirts that Say "Shit Bar Tour 2005" with the establishments listed on back in order and wear them on the crawl. I've wondered if we spent enough money at those places would they actually be proud to be an official stop on the Shit Bar Tour? My other idea was that our designated driver should transport us from bar to bar in an old ambulance.

14. We've gotten T-shirts
It was pretty cool. Last year we had special coasters made up and gave them out to the various bars to display.

The ambulance idea is pretty funny. Half the fun we have is in the stumbling from one establishment to the next. We sometimes take a detour through a school playground and jump around all drunk on the playground equipment.

DAMN fun!

It was in a jukebox at a bowling alley. I had to play it as we were leaving.

5. The National Anthem on a jukebox?
I've never seen that before. Who was performing or was it instrumental?

15. Isn't that the best?
Edited on Sat Feb-05-05 03:06 AM by Strawman
Another tactic I've employed in places like that is to play the song the other patrons will find the "gayest." Somhow there is always one that works e.g "Heal The World" by Michael Jackson in a redneck bar. It has a nice monologue by Michael Jackson on top of the music singing that they are just crazy about.
