I asked this in AA but I need avatar help

I wanna upload a new avatar but i get this message saying that I can upload a max of one and I already have Jigglypuff. How do I get rid of Jigglypuff and upload my new avatar?

1. You mean to upload into your profile? If so... it should have a numeric

name for the picture, and not a name you chose. From the options page:

Avatar Image
You can choose from following images or upload your own. To use your uploaded avatar, add the following to your avatar box: personal/######.

(Where ###### is a unique number.)

You should just be able to go to your "Profile" and choose "Upload" to replace your current avatar. (Make sure to choose whether it is a gif or jpg, or it won't load the new one, even if it seems to.)

3. Yes... the pic you upload will replace that one on DU's server.

and it will have the same number as your old one.

7. And you're sure you clicked one of those radio buttons designating

whether it's a JPG or GIF? By default, nothing is chosen, and if you don't click one or the other, it will seem to work, but it won't upload anything, so your old one would be there.

9. What size is your avatar... maybe it's too big?

I think it has to be less than 50x50 pixels.

11. Hmmmmmmm....

That's really odd.... I haven't really had any trouble changing mine before...

And you're SURE it's 48x48 (their recommended size, I just checked)?

You can check it real quick by opening it in Windows paintbrush (Start Menu->Run->Pbrush) Open the file, then choose "Image" and then "Attributes." It should give you the dimensions of your picture.

13. Also... if you do need to reduce it further, you don't have to crop it.

Just reduce it in paintbrush by choosing "Image" then "Stretch/Skew" and experiment with different percentages (same percentage in both Horizontal and Vertical or it will skew the picture) until the attributes are 48x48. (For example, if the picture is 100x100 just enter 50 in both the horizontal and vertical boxes and it will reduce the pic 50% to 50x50.)

14. Make sure that in the avatar image line

that it says personal/12345.jpg replace 12345 with your number but don't forget to TYPE in .jpg as well as select .jpg when you upload it.
