1. Wow, what pretty furbabies
Did you get Molly after your other cat passed away? I used to have an orange tabby like that--I think they're the cutest kittens. And Rudy looks exactly like my Siamese, Barney. Does Rudy have a strong personality? Barney's my first Siamese and he's very dominant, hard to tell if that's just his way or if it's a Siamese trait.

3. Yes,
I got Molly on Saturday, 3 days after Polly passed on. She's named in honor of Polly, but since she's a redhead, I gave her a nice Irish name. ;)

Yes, Rudy has a strong personality. He's my second siamese-mix... I love them. they're beautiful and fun.

8. I think I prefer Siamese now too, after Barney
he acts like a dog--follows me around--and mumbles "mer" to himself and us all the time. But our timid tuxedo female, Mona, is no match for him. She doesn't seem to mind his incessant attempts to lick her, but next time I think to be fair I'd get a second Siamese.

11. yeah...
the siamese just LOVE to talk. They grumble when mad, meow loudly when happy... they really make their feelings known.

They're also incredibly strong-willed, which is sorta fun.

the full-grown cat has all the regal majesty and coiled grace of an Egyptian statue. (Cats are my favourite animals..can you tell? Heh.)

5. heheh...
yeah, me too.

Rudy's only 6 months old - he still has a lot of growing to do. But he's really regal already. 'cept when he's sucking on my earlobe... then he's just a little silly cat.

13. Thanks will....
I know what you mean. I was allergic to my first cat, and just suffered through it. Now I have three cats and I do fine unless I stick my face in their fur (which i do almost daily), but it's not too bad. It was a lot worse before.

The biggest thing for me is I don't let them sleep with me, as much as I'd love that. It keeps my allergies in check.

15. Sleep...
When we're not around Cat and Star like to sleep on the bed. I usually have to take an allergy tablet before I go to bed because they leave a bit of themselves there.

I never had a problem with Cat only with Star. Cat used to sleep on the bed with us and one day Star got in the bedroom and jumped up and tried to sleep on my chest while I was sleeping. Oh, that went over REAL well...

14. Giving up ...
...my darlings was something I could not do, too. But when they died, I made up my mind not to adopt other cats. The risk was too high, that one day I´d be forced to give it up anyway.

I'm being unfair to my other cat, Punk. He's 3 years old, but I don't have a good pic of him online to post. He's also extremely handsome.

Rudy and Molly, having only met two days ago, are already very good friends. And Rudy and Punk are very close. Punk has shown no interest in Molly yet, but I suspect they'll all be good friends soon.

20. Whoa, these guys are too cute!
Molly looks like she was awakened for her pics -- sleepy girl.

As for that handsome Rudy -- I have two Siamese (Meezers) and know how *cool* they are. They are a lot like infants -- they need (and demand) a lot of love and attention, and will cry to the heavens if you don't tend to them!

Hey, I'm a total sap when it comes to cats...

Thanks for posting these cool pix! :toast:

22. They are adorable!
Cats rule (dogs drool!). Rudy reminds me of one of ours as well. Our Tootsie is a Siamese/Tabby mix. Mostly Sealtip markings, but with little white socks and a tabby nose. Of the three cats that are here with me, she is by far the most territorial and vocal. I liked the pics you posted the day you got Molly, and these are just as cute, if not cuter. (just kidding about the dogs-above; I have had 5 dogs, and they have been great with the cats) :hi:

I HOPE Molly grows up to look like Gerry.... that is my DREAM cat! A big beautiful orange fluffball.

And fart's pretty handsome, but what's with the jewelry? And do the other cats laugh at his name?

33. Yeah... Gerry was a beautiful cat...
... sadly neither Gerry or Fart are around any more :(

The jewelry was an anklet belonging to my g/f. I was playing around and found that it made a nice necklace for Fart. For the concerned animal lovers here, though, she wasn't wearing it for much longer than it took to take the photo and she didn't seem to mind all that much.

Her full name was Fahrvergnügen, but I called her Fart for short... no cats laughed, but a few ppl did.

31. I think...
he's siamese/tabby mix. Has siamese markings with some tabby stripes on his legs and tail. Beautiful blue eyes. His fur is a very light silvery color. He's really pretty. Fairly vocal, too, which leans towards siamese.

30. tabby/siamese mixes are the best cats EVER
I'm owned by an 8-year-old blue-eyed tabby/siamese mix who looks like fudge ripple ice cream. The tabby part seems to mellow out the more high-strung parts of the siamese traits, and he has the most incredible temperament I've ever seen in a cat. He is the sweetest, most affection, very vocal, very smart cat I've ever known. I will always seek out that mix at shelters when/if I ever get more cats.

34. Beautiful little cats!
Orange cats are the best ones.

We have a cat that likes to play with my Sailfin Plecostomus catfish. (Check out http://www.planetcatfish.com; the fish is Glyptoperichs gibbiceps in the Loricariid family.) Big plecos--mine is fifteen inches long from snout to caudal peduncle--like to hang off the glass in the aquarium by their suckermouths, and this one's tank is on a stand with a nine-inch-wide shelf all the way around the aquarium.

The cat climbs up on the shelf and pounces on the glass. The fish pretends to be injured and swims away. (He's fine; there's a good half-inch of glass between cat and fish.) Then he turns around and charges the glass. The cat jumps off the shelf. After the fish reattaches himself to the glass, the cat pounces. This goes on for hours and it's hilarious to watch.
