I finally watched The China Syndrome last night.

It was a damn good movie. I have no idea why in the HELL I didn't watch it sooner. Wonderful acting by Jane Fonda (the reporter) in the end when the ugly truth finally comes out from the plant supervisor as to why the engineer took a gun and barricaded himself in the control room. Emotionally, she played the part perfectly. Also, the part of the movie towards the end where it looked like there was gonna be a total meltdown was absolutely adrenaline-inducing. I hadn't felt an adrenaline rush like that from a movie since I saw The Rock (awesome movie too, BTW).

Anyone else ever watch it?? Didn't it kick ass??

And how the private company who manufactured the faulty part tried to sabotage the people who would testify in court after the reactor showed warning signs of blowing, and they had found the problem part. It wasn't until the end when they had implied that the private company was in deep shit for manufacturing the faulty part.
