a friend gave me a copy of the new one, which he got "for your consideration" for the Oscars. I saw it when it came out, but it was different wathcing it the second time around....

9. I've posted this question here a couple times but haven't got an answer:
why did Manchurian Global need some Rube Goldberg machine scheme involving brain implants to gain control of things, when all they need to do is appoint an ex-member of their board of directors to the vice-presidency and have him run things. It's a lot simpler, and it's how it works in real life.
