My butt muscles are killing me.
I took my son and his best friend bowling for Valentine's Day last night. We bowled four games (and I kicked their asses. :-) ) I had a wonderful time...and the kids did, too.

But my butt muscles are KILLING me today. I took some Tylenol, which didn't help. I need to get to the gym more often.

5. How do you bowl exactly?
I use my arms...

Don't you hate that. You do something new or something you haven't done in a while and you find all these muscles that you never knew you had.

8. Yes, it's bad.
I am active, though...I'm an outdoors girl who hikes, camps, fishes, builds stuff, etc.

But heaving a 16 pound ball down a wooden alley....well, it killed me. :-)

10. Ibuprofen, not Tylenol
Ibuprofen helps with inflammation. Sore muscles, pulled muscles. swelling, etc. Tylenol is really bad for your liver, but is best for illnesses (like fever or headaches brought on my being sick).

18. Maybe it is your back!
I have a bad disc in back and that kind of movement would cause a pain in my butt and also feel like I have 5 lb bags of flour attached to each "cheek". You may have a disc problem and a pinched nerve which can cause pain to show up anywhere!

21. I do have disk problems in my back.
MRI showed it. But I usually end up on the couch from stupid stuff like bending over "wrong" to pick up a pair of shoes.

Labor, exercise, and outdoors stuff that I enjoy doesn't seem to bother me. It's the stupid little stuff that seems to cause the back problems for me.

(And I know it was stupid for me to bowl with the kids with the back problems I have, but, dammit, I'm competitive, and I can't stand to watch people do stuff and not participate. :( )

22. Maybe it's your KIDNEYS!
I'd go see a doctor if I were you. Try to describe the pain as accurately as possible. I was nearly certain I had something in my spine (same thing pain out of continuous effort) and it was the kidneys. I was on antibiotics for a week.
