4. Some psychiatrists think..
... that there is no such think as biweekly. The week will eventually gravitate to Saturday or Sunday.

9. I believe the week goes in a bell fashion with one day gravitating
strongly toward Saturday...one day gravitating back toward Sunday and the rest firmly in the middle

5. smartypants!
I want to clear this up because of something I saw on the Walmart Facts website. It says that family coverage is offered for as low as $70.50 bi-weekly.

Doing the math... $5.15 x 40 = $206 gross

4.33 weeks per month ----> $892.66 gross per month if the insurance premium is deducted at a rate of every two weeks the premium would be $152.75 per month.

If it is deducted twice a week it is $610.99

Either way it is not affordable for someone working for Walmart!

7. If it helps, think of it like this
There are 12 months in a year, so getting paid semi-monthly means getting 24 checks a year.

There are 52 weeks in a year so getting paid bi-weekly means getting 26 checks a year.

8. Thanks
something about actually spelling it out in more concrete words makes it more understandable (not you, our society in general...)

just having a bit of fun :D (with the complete knowledge that someone much more useful than I would happen upon this thread and actually answer your question)

2. Bi-weekly is...
... once every two weeks. Semi-weekly is twice a week.

Cheers.
