7. have you ever used mailinator for fake e-mail addresses?
its great... Just make up whatever prefix you want, eg. xxx, and then type in @mailinator.com. xxx@mailinator.com

you don't even have to go sign up at mailinator.com or anything. once you enter your made up e-mail at whatever site is asking you for an e-mail address, mailinator.com will actually keep any e-mails you receive for, I think, 3 days or so, if you are so inclined to see if you got anything. Most people just use it as a dummy e-mail site, and never go check. its totally free and doesn't ask you for any information. all you have to remember is mailinator.com.

you could even use question_everything@mailinator.com, and that would satisfy... FYI

8. Thanks, will consider
Sometimes I just use xyz156@hotmail.com - or something. It appears legitimate and if they want to email me something - that's too bad.

That way, I know that all the junk mail will go there.

12. you can also try this
:) use any address at papernapkin.net such as sucker@papernapkin.net and an auto rejection will be sent. It is for giving out fake emails to potential dates you want nothing to do with. More on the site.

14. Funny. I've just heard on NPR - actually was on Valentine's Day
that there is a phone number with a similar function. You call and you get a lecture about how bad you are, etc. The franchise exists in several cities each with a local area code so that it does not raise suspicion.

5. It's NewsMax. They're RW nutjobs.
Nobody pays them any mind anyhow. Don't worry about their silly ass poll.

13. I voted.. and with pleasure
shot down all the options. The intro was priceless. "NewsMax reports have been cited by national major media, including Fox News, CNN and MSNBC." I've always thought of it more as a place for republican talking points, nothing more. Just what kind of fair results would they expect from their core readers?
