And may I ask what prompted this? He's been a horribly sucky pro-bush 'artist' for a while... did soemthing happen recently that I missed?

2. What did Sweet Old Bob do this time?
I must have blinked. Last TV I saw, Michael Jackson had the flu.

4. Funny story. Also true.
I met Joey, Kids sidekick, and 3 members of the band, on a flight back in 99, before they were really "big".

Asshole broke out his cell phone during the descent. Apparantely, they had just had some breakout interview on the Today show or something. Jerk was calling his dad to tell him it would air the next day. Now, normally I'm a pretty reasonable guy, but I was returning from a 12 day business trip to San Juan, PR. During the tropical storm in November! And my fucking company wouldn't let me leave! 4 weeks after the hurricane hit Raleigh/Durham, where I was on the last plane (flying standby) to leave the airport.

So, this shit won't get off his cell, even though the flight attendant asked him repeatedly, told him they couldn't taxi in until he shut it off.

I had no idea who he was, so I reached across the aisle, grabbed the phone out of his hands, said "Turn off the goddamm phone!!!"

People cheered. Then, 3 guys in the seat behind me got all in my face. Little did I know they were part of the band. Lots of noise, no fighting but pretty close.

I just wanted to get home to see my wife, and try and have a kid (no pun intended), and make it to the Yo Yo Ma concert.

Is that too much to ask???
