My aunt has breast cancer
Send her some good vibes, please.

I just found out a little while ago.

She went for a biopsy last week and they confirmed it was cancer.

She's has some decisions to make over treatment as far as whether they take just the lump of the whole breast.

My Nonni (MY mom's and aunt's mom) had a breast remove the summer before I went away to college in 1996. She's doing fine now. They said my aunt's cancer is just like my Nonni as far as where the tumor is and all.

Thanks for listening.

4. Will be thinking good thoughts for ya.
My uncle died of bone cancer last July, it's one of the most emotionally draining things in the world to be the loved one of a cancer patient. All you can do is think good thoughts, pray if you're so inclined, and hope for the best. Hope your aunt beats it and gets better soon!

10. my mother is a 12 year survivor of breast cancer.
she is still clear of it. she had a mastectomy and no chemo. she used alternative stuff ,this sludge-like tea made from brewing essiac, and tamoxifen, which was a trial treatment that worked apparently. she has been clear since. knock on wood.

i hope things work out for your aunt.

11. Thanks jonny baby!
My aunt is still debating her options as to whether to have chemo or radiation.

When my Nonni had breast cancer she opted for radiation b/c she didn't want to lose her hair.

I don't think my aunt cares if she loses her hair or not.
