9. nope
Tuesday, Wedensday and Thurdsay I work 1:30pm-11:30pm. Friday I work 5:30am-3:30pm. It's a little rough getting off at 11:30 thursday night and being back in 5:30 friday morning, but when I get off this afternoon, it's a looooong time until I go back in tuesday at 1:30. :)

10. 3 days off
but just resting and playing with my son all three.

Saturday there is an African American Living history reneactment or something at Historic Bratonsville (where they filmed Mel Gibson's movie The Patriot about the revolutionary war). Might go to that if I get motivated enough.

16. I totally forgot my husband has Monday off.
We'll probably go to a park. There's one we haven't been to yet. It's very close to where we live. I just found out the other day they have a small petting zoo at this park, which my son would love. There are also two play grounds, tennis courts, walking/biking trails, a swimming pool, and a lake for boating and fishing at this park. There's a small fee to get in. I think it would cost the three of us $4 or $5 in total.

18. I actually work tonight.
Then I don't work again until next Friday night. I wish I had something interesting to do this week. I should just hop on a plane this week and get the heck out of dodge. (The kids don't have school, but my oldest can babysit and their dad is five minutes away.) I need the air. If money were little object (within reason), what would you do?

These kinds of "holidays" are mainly for federal employees and bank personnel and teachers. Most working hacks like me will be at our stations Monday, and every other "pseudo-holiday."

But I take heart that I do not work for Wal-Mart. They ONLY day they close is Christmas.

I've had a hard couple weeks, so this 3-day will be nice. We're heading up to BC to go skiing. The snow (or lack thereof in this case) sucks, but it will be nice to get away.
