10. Sort of. But they are set up for the purpose. You'll never be driving down
I-94 in the middle of a NASCAR race. Watkins Glen has one. :hi:

11. Oh
I never knew that. I have never seen a Nascar race, so I just figured it was racing around in circles. Thanks for the info :)

3. No, You Cannot!
We had a meeting and decided that DU'ers can't like NASCAR. Did we forget to tell you about the new rules where we all decide what everyone has to like, think, and say? Maybe the memo hasn't gone out yet.

Edited on Fri Feb-18-05 10:57 AM by JonathanChance
I'm not interested.

C'mon you NASCAR cowards, what's a matter, you too chicken to take on a real course like Elkhart Lake or Mosport?

15. I disagree. There's Road Racing, and there's NASCAR.
And the two should be separate. I really don't enjoy the NASCAR road races. The cars are too heavy for that.

Super-speedway racing is where NASCAR shines and they should try to keep it that way. I love watching the races at Daytona and Talledega, though my favorite track is Pocono, a triangular track with three different straighaways, and three distinctly different turns.

Hey, nobody says Michael Schumacher is boring because he doesn't race at the Indy 500. There's room for everybody. Vive la difference!!!
