Macauley Culkin in prison?
He was driving through OKC and got caught with some weed and Xanax (without a prescription).

1. I understand he will also be called to testify at Michael Jackson's
trial. Maybe they can be cellmates?

5. "i hope"?
since when does being a celebrity (or a politician...) totally disqualify someone from being punished under the law? i don't really agree with the drug laws we have in operation, but they are the law, and everyone has to obey them or else all we have is anarchy.

i don't care if he's a washed-up child actor, he should face the consequences of his actions.

what is it in america, this obsession and infatuation with "celebrities"? these are people who make millions of dollars for acting in front of a camera. nothing more, and nothing less. same thing with sports "stars"; they get millions (sometimes hundreds of millions) of dollars for doing something that college kids have to PAY to do. (well, you know what i mean)...and people actually go and WATCH these grown men/women playing sports that are much more fun to play than watch?

i'm sorry, this is just ridiculous to my mind.

6. "I hope" that anyone, regardless of celebrity status, whose only crime
was that they were caught with weed or Xanax does not have to serve jail time.

7. ok.
i thought you were meaning it the other way. but even so. if this was just some kid, not a washed-up child actor, would he have made bail, had several lawyers?

9. That's what I meant
Nobody should go to jail for changing lanes without using a signal, even if they have some Xanax and pot in their possession.

Our country's drug policies and laws suck.

11. yep, i agree with the drug policies sucking.
we wouldn't have half the problems we have now if drugs were regulated instead of illegal. hell, booze and tobacco is allowed, and that CAN be worse than pot or other drugs. i'm not big on allowing coke or heroine or anything that really is dangerous, but i think pot is one of those things that could be regulated like booze. just don't smoke and drive.

crime would go down, bc the drug rings and dealers would go out of business. that generates most of the crime regarding drugs.

10. yea...
i didn't even notice that you weren't the first poster, lol. sorry, i got a bit carried away there.

i agree that he shouldn't be put in jail for some pot. i just get tired of celebrities and politicians getting away with shit that would put any normal person in jail.

my apologies.
