HELP! Need a working 286 or 386 motherboard SX20 or slower
for a special experiment, new computers are too fast! Couldn't find one on ebay...just m/b & CPU don't need anything else...will be glad to pay reasonable price & shipping. (This project has political purposes) :D
Anybody got one of these old dinosaurs willing to sell pls DUmail or email me...thanks!

7. I asked him
and the only slow one is in an old Gateway laptop. I kinda remember that thing smokin' (literally) so don't think that would be good. Have you posted on the computer forum karl?

5. Not sure what a P33 is but it might work if a 386...don't go to a lot of
trouble for this, just thought I'd poke thru DU in case someone had something...thanks!

8. Not sure what SX20 means
33 was the speed of the RAM, I believe, I dunno. My 1st computer here at work... as we got better computers, I brought the old one home. There is absolutely no reason in the world that we would have kept it... Just like there is no reason we still have my 19 yo son'd 2 yo clothes... my wife is a pack rat...

It was a Compuadd 386, 33 Mhz...

6. I have an old (but working!) Packard Bell 386 that I could let go.
It's just taking up space in my "crap closet." Are you serious about wanting to buy it?
