I just saw Million Dollar Baby today (possible spoiler)...
anyway, I just don't understand conservatives. How in the hell could they call this movie propaganda? If anything, I think it was the complete opposite of propaganda because you come out of the film asking yourself the question, was that the right thing to do? What would I do if I faced that situation? Propaganda tells you what to think and ask no questions. That movie really made me think and reflect on my own morals. I guess free thought is propaganda to those "bizzaro world" living fundies!

Anyway I don't cry easily in movies but I teared up a little near the end of this one and I KNEW how it ended! To think I went to see this instead of Hotel Rwanda because I thought THAT would be too depressing!

1. The ending was a reality.
That right there is a problem for the so called right. I think the correct actions was done here.

2. the ending was a question
it wasn't correct or incorrect, it was a question

he killed her, then he disappeared forever, if anything, I think the conservatives would like this better because it does show that he is suffering for his sins

3. Like how the priest summed it up in the end...
by killing her, he "killed himself" which is why he disappeared. I really liked this movie I think it was such a great movie that could really get people talking about tough subjects

5. The question was asked.
But one answer out of the several was given.
Frankie Dunn gave Maggie Fitzgerald what she ask for. She had plenty of time to think it over. Frankie had time to think about it.
As I said, I think this was the correct answer for this situation.
Frankie's hardness was a facade. He was really a caring person. What he did was an act of love for Maggie. To not act would be cold, uncaring.

4. Uh oh, that's even worse. Far worse.
That movie really made me think and reflect on my own morals.

Can't have people thinking for themselves. Really. It's the WORST thing, absolutely.

6. I sobbed.
I thought what he did for her was beautiful - and I am so angry that the right think it's only ok to kill people who don't want to die (capital punishment).
