Attn: March/April babies


I would like to put together the birthday/anniversary
list for April and also add to the March list. When
you give your birthday/anniversary date it will be posted
here in the Lounge so that we can all wish you the best on
your special day. I would love to post the thread for you
so if you wish to participate please tell me:

1. the date and
2. whether it is a birthday or an anniversary.

If you gave this info to me last month, you do not have
to do it again. If you wish to give the info
privately, please send a PM to me.

Hey newbies!! Don't be shy. We want to celebrate your
special day too. Please join the fun. I would be happy
to prepare a special birthday/anniversary thread
for you too.

...or as Indiana Jones put it...."It's not the years, it's the mileage."

Yeah, we're getting older, but hopefully we're getting wiser and smarter, too. Hitting 40 last year hit me kind of hard. It's a lot easier this year as I come up on 41. Thing is, I'm probably in better shape at 40 than I was at 30. I'm taking better care of myself, I'm more aware of how my body and mind handle stresses, I'm exercising more, etc. It's kind of nice to look back on things now with a little mor perspective. Myabe getting older has some benefits.

39. I think 50 will be hard for me. But it is just a number, as you say.
I could stand to lose a little weight (okay, a lot of weight), but other than that it's all good. I am definitely wiser, as well.

57. March 16 - I will officially be old (according to my guidelines)
As a youngster I always thought anyone over 40 was considered old. I never imagined myself being "over 40". My 40th birthday didn't even bother me. This year I turn 41 and this definitely bothers me because I will be officially "over 40".
