The OP was complaining about why would he bring a sick kid to a restaurant.

The contingent of mommy-nazis took this to be an attack against children and their parents' right to take them anywhere at any time and allow any behavior.

I couldn't stop laughing. Makes me wonder what insane-ass world some people live in. You know, you can only pose so many "what-ifs" to a situation before it becomes plain stupid. I like the one who said something like "what if they were from venus...."

I say this as a parent of a kid who puked in the checkout lane at the grocery store. I left my shit on the conveyor belt and bolted out of the place after apologizing profusely to the "clean up" crew. Shopping can wait.
