3. I don't think drooling is very cosmopolitan...
...though too many cosmopolitans might bring about such a state. :crazy:

How to Make a Cosmopolitan
From your Cocktails / Beer Guide

Here's an easy recipe for a Cosmopolitan Cocktail.

Difficulty Level: Easy
Time Required: 5 minutes


Here's How:
Thoroughly chill a cocktail glass.
Put ice in a shaker.
Add 1 1/2 oz. of quality Vodka.
Add 3/4 oz. of Cointreau or Triple Sec.
Add 1 1/2 tsp. of lime juice.
Add 3/4 oz. of cranberry juice.
Cover shaker and shake well.
Strain into chilled glass.
Garnish with lemon twist or lime wedge if desired.


Tips:

Use the freshest and highest quality ingredients you can.
Use fresh ice for each drink.
Absolut Citron is great for this drink

Pousse-Cafés are pretty layered drinks actually meant to be sipped to enjoy the flavor of each layer.

INGREDIENTS:
Grenadine
Half & Half
Blue Curacao


PREPARATION:
Layer equal parts in order given into a pony or shot glass.


This drink is also known as "The Patriot"

7. Boston Cooler
1940s Boston Cooler



2 oz rum
2 oz carbonated water
1/2 tsp powdered sugar
fill cracked ice
fill carbonated water or ginger ale
spiral of orange peel
spiral of lemon peel

In a 12 ounce Tom Collins glass combine powdered sugar and 2 oz carbonated water. Stir. Fill glass with cracked ice and add rum. Top with carbonated water or ginger ale. Insert spiral of orange or lemon (or both) and dangle end over rim of glass.

8. Singapore Sling!!!
1940s Singapore Sling



2 oz gin
1/2 oz wild-cherry brandy
1/2 lemon juice
1 tsp powdered sugar
fill carbonated water
2 cubes ice

In a 12 ounce Tom Collins glass squeeze the juice of lemon. Dissolve sugar into juice. Add gin and brandy. Stir with ice and fill glass with carbonated water. Stir well. Decorate with fruits in season and serve with a straw.

History: It was created by the bartender Ngiam Tong Boon in 1915 at Raffles hotel in Singapore. At the beginning it was considered a woman's cocktail for its color.

Ingredients:
1 1/2 oz Gin
1 1/2 oz Dubonnet Rouge
1 dash Angostura bitters


Mixing instructions:
Pour a dash of angostura bitters into the bottom of the glass. Add gin and Dubonnet. Stir.
