1. I was getting those for a while.

2. thats exactly what it sounded like

She said her own name twice, gave her number, said my name more than once. Like we were old school chums or work associates. Guess they bought the Dem list.

3. The one thing that bothered me was -

Where did they get my name and number? Can the Dems sell the list? Would they sell it to someone like LaRouche? I would certainly hope not! I probably signed up on some recount website that I didn't realize was associated with LaRouche. Maybe you did the same.

I can think of one other possibility. Political donations (if they're big enough) become public record, so they may have been going through those public records and calling people who had donated to a Democratic candidate or the Democratic party hoping to milk them for some money.

4. They said they got my name from a petition

that wasn't releted to LaRouche at all. I didn't like it.
