4. It has been a strange day here in Phoenix
We had sunny weather in AM, cloudy weather in the PM, pete and repeat most of the day, then late this afternoon it poured and hailed, Then the sun appeared. Wonder what is in store for us tomorrow. I no longer believe the weathermen. Our weather is strange here.

10. northern Scotland...we're used to it
I can see the Cairngorms from my front garden on a clear day. The snow is cutting the visibility down just now though. Once the snow stops, and the visibility clears, the mountain scenery will be very pretty.

regards

29. I'm getting goosebumps imagining it.

I was in northern Scotland only once, back in 1976 when I was 17, and my brother and I were traveling by train to Inverness. There was a snow squall along the way--it was late November. By the time we arrived, the temperatures were up and the snow was in patches in the fields. So lovely.

San Diego is such a beautiful city. It needs to remain perfect there, like I remember it, unlike major snow country, where I am condemned to live.:-)

13. Isn't weather a little bit like metaphysics?
It is always there - even no weather is itself weather.
It is dry und kuhl here, about zero, if you do Celcius.

20. You always have weather.
Whether it's nice and calm and balmy or thunderstorms or snow or tornadoes or whatever, you always have "some" weather.

Not to be nitpicky, but it's true.

22. Oh, the irony
All the leaves are brown
And the sky is grey
I've been for a walk
On a winter's day

I'd be safe and warm
If I was in L.A.
California dreamin'
On such a winter's day

Stopped into a church
I passed along the way
Oh, I got down on my knees
And I pretend to pray

You know the preacher likes the cold
He knows I'm gonna stay
California dreamin'
On such a winter's day

All the leaves are brown
And the sky is gray
I've been for a walk
On a winter's day

If I didnt tell her
I could leave today
California dreamin'
On such a winter's day

(California dreamin')
On such a winter's day
(California dreamin')
On such a winter's day

26. I see the news and worry about you all!
We are having snowstorms, here in the Northeast, but nobody's disappearing into sinkholes or under mudslides. We just have to stay inside. I'm more scared for all of you. Please report in and let us know that you're okay.

28. It was a hectic week
lots of activity here in Orange County and the boulder that crashed into the building and killed the young girl in Silverado was literally right up the street from a colleague who is, fortunately ok...it's starting to dry up.
Thanks :)
