4. It's 80 degrees outside, all the windows are open and have been

since early morning. Relative humidity in here is 80%.

It was a little cooler yesterday--75 degrees or so. It feels like early in Baltimore, just before the dog days really kick in.

There's no cold beer in the fridge.

Nor is there iced tea ... and there's no way I'm going to boil water to make any.

I've been smacking mosquitos since mid-January. Spiders are hatching.

It could be worse. Summer hasn't started yet. It's really unpleasant then. The cockroaches take to the air.
